Move-to-Spain.com grew from personal experience. We have lived in Spain for many years — with chapters in Málaga, on the Costa del Sol and in recent years in Valencia, a city we love dearly and recommend to all Nordic citizens considering a new life in Spain.
We know the frustration of Spanish bureaucracy first-hand: NIE applications that went wrong, banks that said no, tax forms in Spanish and notaries demanding unexpected documents. We have navigated all of that ourselves.
Instead of letting that knowledge gather dust, we started helping Nordic friends and acquaintances navigate the process. Word spread quickly and we realised the need was great — many Nordic people dreamed of Spain but did not know where to start.
Today we have strong local connections throughout Spain, particularly in Valencia and on the south coast, and have helped over 500 Nordic citizens with everything from NIE to SL company, insurance and housing assistance.
