Jaén is an up and coming university city with lots of arts and cultural events.
In addition, the Sierra Nevada ski resort is only 45mins away and the beaches of Motril, Salobreña and Almuñecar are 1hour away. Almeria and Malaga are roughly an hour and a half away.
On the towns doorstep, youll find the stunning Sierra Arana mountains which has great walks, off road tracks, 2 restaurants, outdoor BBQ areas, soon to be opened Cuevas del Agua (water caves), a mini golf course and even a mushroom museum!!
Iznalloz has everything you would expect from a town of approximately 7,000 people and rising.
A lovely ornate train station with trains direct to and from Granada, there are also trains to Barcelona, Almeria, and Malaga (changing in Granada) with links to the new fast AVE.

Iznalloz is a farming community specialised in olive oil and has its own press and factory and refinery as well as bottling factory. All kinds of professional workers eg.glaziers, builders, electricians, welders etc etc. Plus the circus and funfairs often come to town. Town Fiesta is in mid august where there are live bands etc. Phone-lines are available through Telefonica and the town has excellent reception for both internet broadband and satellite TV connection. In the neighbouring towns and villages there are many places of tourist interest and eateries etc and commuting is excellent due to the motorway being less than 5mins drive away.
